What Is Google Adsense Revenue

What is Google Adsense Revenue and How Do You Get It?
Many people are confused about this topic. There are a lot of internet marketing blogs out there that speak a lot of jargon so I will attempt to say everything in plain English.
Google adsense revenue is your cut, or your piece of the pie, from the total dollar amount Google received off a click on your website.
Someone went to your site. They entered in a search term in Google, Yahoo, MSN, or ASK! and found your website.
They read some content on your article. Maybe they were looking at an image you had on your site.
While I am sure your site is wonderful it just told them about the subject that was on their mind. It did not actually fulfill a need.
But wait! To the right they spot an ad (adsense) with a phrase that does. They see a little tag line with the URL bellow it.
The person clicks on that ad. As soon as they do that click is tracked and Google is paid for it. The value of that clicks depends on how competitive it was, where the person came from, and if they buy anything. The closer that person comes to making a purchase the more that click is worth. If they actually do purchase something on the advertiser's website then that click is worth a great deal.
Everyone is supposed to win. The advertiser gets a new potential customer that hopefully will turn into an actual sale (though nothing is promised). Google gets whatever the click was auctioned off at based on its demand. And you, the webmaster who allowed adsense to be on your site, get 25-30% of that click.
The more targeted the click is the more everyone gets paid. To protect its advertisers Google will discount a click if it sees it was not targeted or invalid. They have an advanced tracking system that detects quite a bit. Click fraud never works for long.
If you have a nice well optimized website, or blog, made around a specific theme, or idea, then you will eventually get traffic. That traffic will be at least somewhat targeted.
And you can turn that targeted organic traffic into Google adsense revenue.
Its income that is somewhat passive and you get the money deposited into your adsense account as soon as the search engine tracks the click.
You Need Targeted Trafftic To Generate Consistent Google Adsense Revenue
You are going to need some form of consistent organic traffic to make any decent revenue on a weekly and monthly basis. Social traffic will not bring "valid" clicks and will most likely get your Google adsense account "smart priced."
When your account is "smart priced" all your clicks are discounted. Instead of a potential click from your website being $4.00 it is $.50. And you still get 25% of that. It takes a couple days and several "valid" adsense clicks to stop your Google adsense revenue from being smart priced.
Link building efforts are not what this Hub is about. That is a whole subject by itself and can take pages upon pages to explain. But I will say you will have to master link building if you want to get organic traffic from the "Big G." And like I said only large amounts of organic traffic will bring large amounts of adsense Google revenue.
Its that simple.
The more people who come to your site the more clicks you will get. In order for you to get people you need good content and great link building skills. Like "Love and Marriage" you "Can't Have One Without the Other."
Your total amount of Google adsense revenue is calculated at the end of every month. Once it passes $100 you will get a check for that amount, which takes a month to process, or you can opt for direct deposit of your earnings.

A Look Inside Google Adsense
Why Many People Fail
Most people with Google adsense accounts are not making any money.
Why is that?
They are putting the cart before the horse. You are not going to slap some Google adsense ads on your website and get rich.
Surprise! It does not work like that. Not at all.
Making decent Google adsense revenue takes work. Hours of it! And it take dedication and time. A person will spend a whole year before he has anything to write home about. Anyone who says otherwise is using black hat techniques to quickly boost traffic which does not work or is lying.
I do SEO for a living. I work for a professional SEO company and I have my own sites and I can tell you there are no shortcuts. To build traffic to your website you need engaging content, links, and well optimized coding.
It can take months just to get 20 visitors a day. And you are only going to get maybe 5-10% of the total visitors who come to your website to click on your Google adsense ads.
So what does this mean?
Its means that to make Google adsense revenue you need hundreds, no, thousands of visitors every single day.
Does it seem daunting? Its is at first but with practice you will learn the ropes. Just do not expect massive amounts of Google adsense revenue payments within the first year.
Making decent adsense payments is like a marathon and not a race. You have to be in the game for the long haul. Nobody is going to give you anything. You have got to work hard for it and it will come through your hard work.
So you want to make thousands a month in Google adsense revenue?
Find something you know a lot about and start writing. Write your tail off!
Then network around to other similar websites and ask for links.
Once your get 100s of visitors per day via Google open an adsense account.
Paste the code on your site or blog.
Finally, check your adsense account everyday and sit back and relax!
